Sustainability

We believe sustainability is not a trend or a promise - it is the foundation of how each piece is made. Every garment is handcrafted by me using vintage or upcycled materials thoughtfully sourced from local sellers or small businesses. By working exclusively with existing textiles and producing in small quantities, the brand embraces a slower, more intentional approach to fashion. In this way, we craft clothing made with respect for time, materials and the lives they’ve already lived.

Materials with History

The majority of the materials we use in our pieces are upcycled or vintage, selected for their quality, character, and longevity. By choosing fabrics that already exist, we avoid the most carbon-intensive stages of conventional fashion production - raw fiber creation, dying, and large-scale industrial processing.

Each textile carries its own history. Subtle variations in color, texture, or weave are not imperfections, but evidence of authenticity and individuality.

Made from what already exists.

Designed for Longevity

Sustainability extends beyond how a garment is made - it lives in how long it is worn. Our pieces are designed to be cared for, repaired, and returned to again and again. Care instructions are provided to help extend the life of each garment, repair guidance is always available upon request.

We believe clothing should age beautifully, feel personal, and last for generations.

Environmental Impact

By using vintage and upcycled materials, each garment avoids the emissions associated with new textile production. Based on industry lifecycle data, it is estimated that each piece saves approximately 8-10 kg of CO₂ compared to a newly manufactured equivalent. This comprises roughly an 85-90% reduction in carbon impact.

These figures are estimates, and will continue to be refined as the brand grows.

An estimated 85-90% lower carbon impact than conventional fashion.

Made by Hand, in Limited Quantities

Every garment is handmade from start to finish. There is no factory, no assembly line, and no excess inventory. This process allows for careful construction, reduced waste, and a level of attention that mass production cannot replicate.

Producing in limited quantities ensures that nothing is made without intention, and nothing is made to simply be replicated. Most items are one of a kind - their design inspired by the materials available.

Handmade, small batch, and intentionally limited.

A Continuing Commitment

Inés Namuth is built on the belief that fashion can be both refined and responsible. As it evolves, so will our approach to materials, impact measurement, and transparency. Progress is ongoing, intention remains constant.

Thank you for choosing to support a slower, more thoughtful way of dressing.
